They are filled with fiber that helps control appetite, so eat one when you feel the urge to snack on some less-desirable foods. Apples are a low-sodium food naturally, which can prevent excess water retention and water weight.

3. Drink Water

Your water faucet can support shed the water weight and make you look healthier and thinner. A healthy women should consume about 11 cups of water whereas healthy men should consume 15 cups of water a day, from all food and beverages. With just drinking two cups of water before you eat all of your three meals, you can lose the weight and keep it off.

4. Plain Yoghurt and Honey

This is an awesome breakfast/snack. The probiotics in yogurt work very well for the digestive track and maintains a healthy balance of gut flora that improves digestion and the breakdowns fat. The honey is just a little added (healthy) sweetness to satisfy any cravings you might have. For best results, try low-fat yogurt.

Requirements:
-1/2-1 cup of plain (not vanilla) yogurt
-One tablespoon of organic raw honey, or to taste
Directions:
Eat this for snacks or breakfast, adding honey. Add fresh fruit or even oats for a little change.

5. Black Pepper and Lemon Juice

This spicy little mixture contains black pepper and lemon juice to create a drink that can help in losing weight. Black pepper includes a naturally occurring chemical compound called piperine, which gives it a pungent flavor. Studies have shown that piperine can hinder the genes that constrain the generation of fat cells. Lemon juice can help in digestion and aid in breaking down foods.

Directions:
Add lemon juice to water and sprinkle in black pepper (about 3-4 turns of the pepper grinder.) Drink once daily after a meal.
